SRI RAMSUNDAR SANSKRIT VISHWAVIDYA PRATISTHAN
Sri Ramsundar Sanskrit Vishwavidya Partisthan is situated at Ramauli, a village around around 6 km from the Benipur Block of Darbhanga District in Bihar. Since the Chief Patron behind the establishment of the college was Sri Ramsundar Das (a famous saint of this area), the villagers wanted the college to be named after him. The college was established in a meeting held on 26/12/1990 organized by Sanskrit Vikas Parishad, Darbhanga registered under Bihar Societies Registration Act, 1960. This Association scheduled the inauguration of the college on 09/04/1991. The inaugural function witnessed the presence of many eminent scholars of the area, to name a few, Dr. Rama Karana Sharma (Ex. Vice Chancellor, KSDSU, Darbhanga), Bulan Das (a great Saint from Lagma), Dr. Veer Chandra Rai (an Administrator-cum-Academician), Prof. Rama Kant Jha, and many others
